Here's what a customer wrote to us:

I made a fitted diaper out of bamboo velour. I find with some cotton velours, that the pile loses it's loft and softness after about ten washes. So far, the bamboo velour is still soft. It's not as soft as how it started, but it is still very pleasant and comfortable for the baby. I have washed the diaper a couple of dozen times now. It's a great diaper, sturdy, soft, and trim fitting. I am very satisfied with the absorbancy, which is at least equal to hemp, if not a bit better. The drawback is that it dries a bit more slowly than the hemp. I find that both my hemp and bamboo diapers need an extra cycle in the dryer, with the bamboo being the wetter. But they are both dry at the end of the second cycle. I can't wait for warmer drier weather, so I can just hang them all out on the line.
